The ICT Department is headed by a Manager and is responsible for managing NBRB’s digital ecosystem, driving technological excellence, and ensuring seamless information management. The Department strives to provide comprehensive ICT support to various directorates, departments, and units facilitating their endeavors in line with NBRB’s objectives. Specifically, the Department is mandated to:

1. Develop and implement long-term ICT plans, policies, and strategies that align with NBRB’s strategic objectives, ensuring effective and purposeful technology utilization.
2. Establish frameworks to ensure the proper management, oversight, and accountability of NBRB’s IT resources.
3. Design, develop, and maintain tailored software solutions to meet NBRB’s operational needs while collaborating with various departments to create technology solutions that align with organizational goals.
4. Manage and maintain network infrastructure and systems for optimal performance.
5. Implement measures to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
6. Employ holistic IT security measures and proactive cybersecurity strategies to ensure data integrity, availability, and confidentiality, safeguarding NBRB’s digital environment.
7. Ensure optimal acquisition of technology resources while managing relationships with technology vendors enabling procurement of quality solutions.
