FINANCE AND ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT

The department is headed by a Manager. The Finance Department plays a pivotal role in the efficient functioning of the NBRB. It serves as the financial backbone of the organization, responsible for providing Accounting, financial, and inventory management and control.

The Department is specifically mandated to:

  1. Develop and implement effective financial, and inventory management accounting Systems, Policies, and Procedures;
  2. Provide strategic oversight in ensuring economy and value for money in sourcing, acquisition, and provision of goods and services;
  3. Control and monitor expenditure in the board;
  4. Provide Budgeting & Accounting support services;
  5. Prepare annual financial statements and periodic management accounts
  6. Coordinate periodic audit reviews; and
  7. Process payments
