Welcome to the National Building Review Board (NBRB). I am honored and excited to serve as the Chairperson and introduce you to the integral role NBRB plays in shaping Uganda’s built environment.

NBRB was established by the Building Control Act, 2013 under the Ministry of Works and Transport with a vision to promote and ensure planned, decent, and safe building structures that are developed in harmony with the environment. Our vision is based on Uganda’s Vision 2040 aimed at having a Transformed Ugandan Society from a Peasant to a Modern and Prosperous Country.

Through our efforts, we are guided by the core values of excellence, responsiveness, integrity, trust, and accountability which drive us towards the National Development Objectives and safeguarding citizen interests for sustainable growth.
